North Carolina, New Hampshire and Ohio Health Insurance Providers

Assurant health insurance is better known as Time Insurance, a storied name with over 100 years of providing health insurance to North Carolina, New Hampshire and Ohio residents. Assurant has five basic product lines.  They offer some unique benefits such as 3 year rate guarantees, tele-doc services included with every plan and Suite and Select Solutions.  You can get a plan with Assurant and only pay a $250 deductible - no copays, no coinsurance for full coverage for the year.  Assurant is always a great choice.

	Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield provides coverage for more individuals and families than any other health insurance provider in Georgia. They also have the largest network, covering more doctors, hospitals and ancillary medical services than anyone else. Blue Cross offers three distinct types of plans to fit the needs of most Georgia residents. Traditional copay plans come are called Blue Direct. The HSA compatible high deductible plans are named Lumenos. Tonik is primarily for young (under age 35) singles. Each series has merit and shortfalls. 	Aetna health insurance underwriting can be quite tough and even an experienced agent like myself sometimes has challenges getting a fair offer. Aetna is one of a few carriers that, if approved, will not apply waivers to specific medical conditions. We place quite a bit of business with Aetna, but that is mostly because we know what kind of risk they are looking for and which ones will be rejected. 	Humana One is a favorite of Health Solutions USA. They have a wide range of copay plans which are competitively priced with other  health insurance providers. Humana One has some of the best HSA qualified plans in the market but their value priced leader is the Monogram series. Customer service with Humana One has to be one of their selling points.
	Golden Rule is currently rebranding themselves as United Health One . You will see information using both, or either name but they are the same company that is owned by United HealthCare. Golden Rule has been a leader in the  HSA  market and still offers very competitive plans. We are proud to represent Golden Rule / United Health One at Health Solutions USA.
	Kaiser Permanente  is the dominant HMO for individual plans and the only HMO in Atlanta. We like KP quite a bit as do our many clients. In many ways, KP delivers exceptional value if you can qualify for coverage. They reject a very high percentage of applications but we have found a way to get most clients approved. A large percentage of my KP clients were orphans who bought direct from KP but then found themselves lost when it came to client services. Our long standing relationship with KP and our ability to walk in to their home office to deal with client problems face to face give us an edge. If you have coverage with Kaiser Permenente but feel like you are the red-haired stepchild, then allow us to take over your account by agent of record. The only thing you are giving up is the hassle of dealing with a bureaucracy and it cost you nothing.
